As a preschool teacher I see lots of little girls with pretty nails. I would only suggest that you go to the drug store. They sell the little stickers you can put on. Its a lot cheaper and you can have some great memories of mommy doing her nails pretty!! Save the nail shop for some special occasion (like her birthday or a holiday).

Okay, I must be real old fashion. I recall my mother did not allow to wear near polish until I was 16 of age. Now I have a daughter, she is now 16 the first time I let her put nail polish on is when she was 14 and the color had to be cotton candy. You have to think about the toxins that it in the polish and you know kids they but their little finger in the mouths. Honestly it your call but see if the have polish for little children only.

That is too young. Kids try to grow up too fast and she has plenty of time to do that so dont rush it...let her be a child and the mother can paint her toe nails a netural color and thats it but if you start doing things like that it will cause her to grow up too fast and be a hot lil mama

I give that a 12. I cannot imagine taking a child as young as four to have her "nails done". Why start that diva stuff so early?

she's a kid... let her have flowers on her toes! I remember when I was little... my sister and I would set at least 1 saturday a month to paint our fingers and toes. It was fun! What a great memory she will have. Oh, and take pics of her getting them... cute , cute...

first of all i personnally think a four-year old should not be getting her nail done at a salon...what are we teaching our kids now? wow

i was 14 my first time going to the salon to get my nails done....Buy your daughter a little girl nail kit and do her nails at home...you save more money and you wont be teaching your kid that looks are so important that mommy needs to take her to get nails done

you're the parent, you decide but when i was that age i didnt even know what nail polish was

are you doing this bc you want it or bc SHE wants it?
only do it if it's what she wants, at least that's my opinion

if she's old enough to let you know it's what she wants then i say let her bc it's not as if it is harming anybody

Its ultimately up to u but i don't see the harm in just getting them painted but i wouldn't suggest that she get the whole pedicure done with chemicals and all she is to young.

The age when she can afford doing it herself, save the money for college, if she doesn't go to college then it's all yours. And that is that!
