second comings of Jesus (unless you are referring to the rapture as the first 2nd coming; and the public appearing of Christ and his angels at the end of the 7 year period as the second 2nd coming?)

Hello friend,
To answer the last part of your question first, no.
As for Heaven, it is where God is. You mentioned "you will be in Paradise", I suspect you may have been thinking of the passage in Luke 23:43 where Jesus spoke to the thief next to Him promising that he would be with Christ in Paradise.

If this is so, then Paradise as Jesus referred to it was "Abraham's Bosom" which was in Hades. Prior to the Resurrection, Hades was divided into two compartments. There was torment and there was "Abraham's Bosom" also known as Paradise.

You can read more about this in Luke 16:19-31.

Jesus will return to the Earth again only once more. And shame on this place when He does.

Hope this helps.
2 Tim. 2:7

Heaven = Paradise...

I would be interested in seeing what verses speak of 2 second comings of Jesus (unless you are referring to the rapture as the first 2nd coming; and the public appearing of Christ and his angels at the end of the 7 year period as the second 2nd coming?)

Cordially,
John

psalms 37:29 The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it.

John 5:28-29 Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment

Heaven is where God lives and where Jesus will rule from over the earth. Paradise is on earth and eventually God's will will be done here as Jesus prayed for in the Lord's prayer. There are 2 resurrections--only one second coming.

heaven and paradise are the same place.
The word paradise was first used by Paul, speaking of an experience he had THERE, and wanted people to understand (the jews at that time believed there were three levels to heaven:
1. the Birds Domain (1st level)
2. The planets and stars Domain (2nd Level)
3. God's Domain (third level- Paradise) incidentally this is why some bibles say he found himself caught up in the third heaven and some say mearly paradise. but God's Domain, Heaven, Paradise, all the same place.

The word Paradise comes from 'pardis' which means garden.Heaven is God"s dwelling place. I believe they are 2 different places because Adam and Eve lived in a garden
