It isn't ignorance if you know enough to ask for information.
Re the chicken stock -- that's what you get when you boil up the rest of the chicken carcass after it's been roasted and consumed. You let it settle in the frig overnight and the bottom part turns into a gelly-like mass, while the fat congeals on the surface. Skim off the fat and you have broth.
If you need chicken stock for a recipe, just use the broth instead and add a dab of butter. Or, if you want to make a low-fat version of whatever it is you're creating, just use the broth without adding anything.

Chicken stock is made at home with chicken and some vegetables like carrot, celery and onion. Simmer a couple of hours then strain into a stock pot. discard vegetables. Cut chicken into bite size pieces and add to stock. Home ade has a richer taste than canned broth and you control the salt.

Actually they are different but you can substitute one for the other. Chicken stock is actually just made out of the bones that might have a bit of meat clinging to them, but broth is made with the whole chicken carcass and plus vegetables and seasonings.

technically...but a stock is normally made with the roasted bones of chicken along with carrots, celery, onions and tomatoes; this is then boiled for a long time and then strained. A broth is a diluted, not as flavorful version of a stock.

Technically the same. Stock may have vegetables simmered with the chicken and may not be completely clear; broth is completely transparent.

Chicken stock has veggies, chicken, chicken bones ,and other stuff that have been boiled in it and either removed or pureed. Chicken broth is usually just water that had chicken and chicken bones cooked in it
You can use it in place of stock.

No. Broth is mostly salt and seasonings. Stock has vegetables in it and they've been reduced. There are many more vitamins and flavors in the stock. It makes for great soups. :)

Yes. Chicken stock can have some onions and the stockof some other vegies, but that's so minimal that they're interchangable.
