Why do women lie constantly??

they say they want honesty, sincereity, character, commitment, respect, communication, but those are the guys that get the least dates/sex. why don't women just be honest??

Well, my friend that is an age old question. Why do the girls go for the bad guys? See girls arent like us. We run off logic and they run off feelings. Girls will say one thing and do another when it comes to BF's. That is because their feelings get in the way. The logical thing would be to go for the nice guy but the arent attracted to them they are attracted to the spontaneous (and sometimes crazy) cocky guy w/ a reputation. They think they can change them (sometimes) and they end up getting hurt and doing it all over again because they are attracted to the same type of person. They arent lying to you because they really believe that is what they want. In truth they are lying to themselves. All you can do is let them make their mistakes (i usually wont bother once they mess w/ some1 i know). And try to find your place between nice guy and bad boy and you'll be fine.

The most common reason women lie is to make someone feel better.

Women say they want honesty, sincerity, character, commitment, respect, communication but what they want is POWER. So the pushy, bad-mannered jerk is automatically attractive from a power standpoint.

My mother, aunts and grandmother lied all the time and thought they were good at it.

I believe that women lie about other things because they have been built like that by nature. It's a defense mechanism. Imagine, if women always told the truth and they had to physically fight for the truth they said, they're physically weaker than men. So it's better to lie so that they avoid a possible physical altercation.

Well, I am convinced that most women do not intend to lie - they are conditioned to seek stability and financial independence. So that's what they say they want, but it always works otherwise.

For us men, it's like knowing we shouldn't eat that piece of cake, but it sure tastes good going down.

Lying sometimes is a part of being human. Even religious persons sometime lie (white lies). even children do. Women in general sometimes lie but it is not a absolute rule. it is said that do not do undo others what you do not want others do unto you. check yourself? im a totally honest? or do i lie sometimes? the answer of these questions will help you understand that if you want women to be hoest with you, be the one first.

While I see what you're saying that women can be manipulative, lots of women ARE honest. You just need to find one. That may mean that you have to change your search criteria. For instance, my mom will only date really good looking men with all their hair and flat stomachs, but then is surprised with they're not that bright and shallow. I'm not saying that all good-looking, hairy, flat stomached men are stupid and shallow, but if that's ALL you're looking for, don't be surprised if that's ALL you get.

That is not a lie. You have what women want down pretty good. The number of dates/people you have screwed doesnt have anything to do with how your doing your thing, maybe your just not charming.....that will get you a long way.
