I haven't dated in a while, except for a number of one nite stands this summer. (I'm gay and have depression and tons of other baggage). Should I actively seek to date?

i wont necessarily seek to date but seek to find someone who you can relate to. if you have excess baggage a relationship will probably be hard to handle. good luck to you :)

Yeah, totally! I'm sure there are lots of folks out there just like you. Just lay off the one night stands. Works from the great Molly Shannon, "There not gonna want to buy the whole friggin' ice cream truck when your handing out the popsicles for free!" Don't forget, we all have baggage. It just depends on how you carry it. Do you drag it along behind you in a beat up duffel or do you put it in a napsack and go backpacking?

No, not right now. You need to deal with the depression, and the self-destructive behavior that is leading to the one night stands. See a therapist, consider medications to help you get back on track.

Jack I know that God intend that a man to be gay or a woman to be a Lesbian either. Get you read what it says about being gay. Then start going to church. Because that is why made women to differnt then we men. God still loves you but he doesnt like you being gay. Radar

sure when you are ready your heart will know.. get to know some one.. then start the dating processes it sounds like you are getting over a bad relationship and were on the rebound this past summer,, have fun for as long as you need to and when your ready you will know it and it will be very specail i can tell. good luck!!

I think you should do whatever it is that will make you happy. It may be wise to focus on yourself for awhile. Get your depression under control and then find someone.

if you are missing something in your life , try looking for Jesus. stop being gay, even if it means to be celibate. looks like its not working for you anyway.gays are bound for hell. your life will turn a complete 360. just give it a try . what do you have to loose? god bless.
