i have to assume you know the basics of a round of golf, ok?
in a 4 man scramble you have several teams of 4 play a round of golf. each man takes a shot, and then they decide which shot would be the best one to play for the next shot. the same applies on each subsequent shot, on each hole, until you putt out. only one score per team is kept, and at the end, the best scoring 4 man team wins.

The easiest way to learn golf like a pro is by following "The Simple Golf Swing" program. It's primarily a 31 page eBook that teaches golfers how to make solid contact with the ball, how to avoid hitting fat, how to avoid slicing, how get more power, accuracy, and consistency in your swing. Consistency being the number 1 golf skill.
You not only get the eBook though, you also receive a ton of extra material including video, lessons on putting, driving, chipping, sand play etc. Here is their official site: http://www.golfswingguru.net

All 4 tee off,you go to where the best ball of the 4 is lying and you all 4 hit from that spot. After you all 4 hit you go to the spot of the best ball again, and all hit from there. It's the same all the way through the green.4 people play, you count 1 score!

It is teams of 4. Each person in the team hits a shot. They pick the best ball and then they all play their shots from that point. It is repeated till they hole out. The team with the lowest score wins.
