I have a new bf..we've been dating for like a week.I'm not shy,with my friends and family i talk alottt and he does that too.But when im with him i get shy and dont know what to tell him,and he said that the same thing happens 2 him.We have almost the same likes and music taste and everything..and we already talked about all that. && now when we go out we almost say a thing.And we have those embarrasing silent moments. So..what should i say to him??I have no idea.Nothing comes in my mind. When we meet,im like "heyy!.whats up?..what did u do today?..etc etc" and after we talk a little,i run out of ideas :-D...what should i do to stop the silent moments and start to talk more?

a girl answered that i should keep talking. but thats the problem. i dont know what to tell him.. (embarrasing)..whenever im around him my heart starts to beat like crazy and i have those butterflies in my stomach and i can barely talk...
..any ideas of what should i tell him?any subjects? cuz we're going out tomorrow.

Face it Lolli, maybe you and bf just aren't that into each other !!! For whatever reason(s), you don't have much of a connection.
When 2 people have a "special connection", usually there is always plenty to talk about because you both feel comfortable with any conversation. Just the same, you both don't feel awkward nor inadequate during the silent moments. In other words, talk is not required for both people to enjoy and be excited about being together.

When there is a "break" in a converstion I always say "every 8 secounds there is a converstion break " that normally starts a convo. back up. But you cant always say that it will get old so I would just be like what's new or did u hear that new song or something like that. If you both feel the same when then just talk at least he knows you are trying and he knows how you feel about being quite and not knowing what to say. It will get easier as you know get to know him more then you will just talk and it will be just like one of your friends. good luck

its okay to have silent moments you dont always have to be talking and inbetween such moments if you feel uncomfortable just get him to talk about himself...men like to brag aliitle so just relax you will always think of something...later on when you start to date you will find alot more topics to focus on,,,your early in the relationship so just have fun and ask questions every thing will work out!! good luck!

One time when me and my friend were three-waying on the phone with this guy i like, there was one point where everything went silent for a couple seconds.
all of a sudden, my friend says, "so....if you could be any inanimate object, what would it be?"
it was HILARIOUS. it broke the tension, and we actually talked about that topic for like, 15 minutes. lol

They as we communicate hand cuffed me . when I asked what substitute into happening they advised me that they had various comments of a girl screaming down contained in the backside of my pasture . they does no longer have confidence it substitute into me till all of them started jerking on my palms inflicting the handcuffs to scratched my wrists and that i yelled out . The world is full of things to talk about. Pick anything movies, games, sports, fashion, cars, music, .........just look at your categories and pick one. Ask if he likes or dislikes then ask why, then give your views on it. Your just trying to hard relax and it will come natural.
