Jesus doesn't save anyone. We get saved by accepting the Truth that He died on the cross to save us from our sins. Once we accept this truth, God comes to live within us, and His light is what makes us "pretty"...........even though my outer looks aren't that appealing, I look and feel more attractive since I was reborn than I have been in my whole life. The phrase, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" is not just a cliche.......it is true. And when you look through God's eyes, all LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL (:

Where do you get the idea that He preferred "pretty people?" Christ looks not at our outwards appearance but at the heart and soul of a person. True beauty comes from within.

Most likely, you see the aura in those who had made their vows. Not all of them are normally beautiful by how those people are rated through pegeantry contests. However, most of them are seen happy, peaceful and unassuming in their outlooks with a little air of confidence and that is the beauty that you see in them.
