I would ask him why he didn't stop the 9/11 Hijackings and why he allowed his people to die and suffer in the World Trade Centre. That's something I often wonder!! If he would allow a second question I would ask him to name all those involved so they can be brought to Justice and the speculations can stop.

How special and significant are each of the trillions of people/souls are this earth. And do we really have different names? And how easy and what method is used to respond to trillions of prayer? YES I KNOW, I have 3 questions but it intrigues me! :-)

As an atheist, I would automatically become a believer in God if he showed himself to me. I would give my life to him. I wouldn't ask him a question, but offer more of a comment: "Thank you, Lord, for showing yourself to me!" But if I could ask him one question, it would be, "Would you be as kind to disprove me in all the reasons I rejected you before?"

God has already granted me an unlimited number of quesitons- this isn't the problem.
The problem is when God ANSWERS- or doesn't answer, like he never answered Jobs' questions
