Wrong, Muslims are paying the consequences for what TERRORISTS have done. Not all Muslims are terrorist. Mohamed Ali and his family, Kareem Abdul Jabar, Rasheed Wallace, Ahmad Rashad, and many more famous (and not famous) Muslims are kind, good hearted, peaceful people. Stereo typing them all into one group is ignorant.

Mohamed was a prophet who preached tolerance and temperance. It would fall by your judgment that the actions of the few make up the many. The religions of the world share these themes. It is the people who interpret these teachings, who would corrupt his works. Religion is about faith. Faith is one of the most moving characteristics of human beings. When people supplant or misinterpret the teachings, terrible things can happen. No one religion can place blame; all have sinned out of fear, greed and anger. From the crusades of the Middle Ages, to terrorism today. A small minority within a group of people interpreted the messages of faith toward ignoble, immoral and self serving ends. We must work to understand the peaceful majorities of these religions. Only by understanding does a greater peace arise.

Wrong, you judge all Muslims on the actions of radical Islamists who do not follow the teachings of the Koran. The oppression of women is middle eastern culture and has nothing to do with the religion. Do women in Indonesia wear veils? No! What you are doing is the same thing as judging all of Christianity on the actions of a group like the Ku Klux Klan.

Those who exploit religion come in all shapes and denominations, whether it be Islam, Christianity, Judaism etc. The rest of the world thinks the US is carrying out state terrorism in many places around the world, all in the name of God. This is not a new story, as it has been done over and over throughout history, mostly in the name of some form of religious purity. Anyone who wants to separate us is not a religious person, but rather a spiritual hijacker in sheeps clothing.

The Islamic community constantly accuses the western world of giving them a bad name but the evidence shows that only the Muslim community has themselves to blame. They are the only ones who can change the way they represent Islam; no one else can do it for them.

They haven't changed since the seventh century. A little research shows that they are still on a crusade to conquer the world today. The Pope's crusades had nothing on Islam. Google Battle of Tours, France or check out the source below.

I agree with you completely. While I believe in religious freedoms, I also believe that freedom stops when it infringes on the rights of others who don't share that belief system..it is very difficult to be accepting of the muslim religion in this day and time because even the leaders of their religion do nothing to stop the radical extremism that is so prevalent throughout their communities. How can we be expected to co-exist with people who obviously will not stop until they exterminate everybody who doesn't share in their idealogy!!

All religions are like that, one or the other. Religion can never be totally humane.
