If your friend wants to tell you what happened, she will! Let her know you're there for her as a friend anytime she wants to talk about anything! If she doesn't want to talk about it, don't pressure her--it could put undue stress on your friendship.

I couldn't possibly give you advice about getting them back together, or even say that you should or should not bother trying, without knowing why they broke up. You need to talk to your friend and find that out. You may find out that whatever the reason was, it is something that even you would agree is a complete deal breaker.
A lot of people will tell you that you should mind your own business. Honestly, I generally think that this is the best policy too - but if you absolutely *have* to do something, you should definitely get the story from your friend's point of view so you know where she is coming from and can consider whether or not to go on after that. Failing to do that might cost you your friendship, even though your intentions were good. I know you want to help, but remember, without knowing what happened you can do a lot mroe harm than good.

one thing is for sure
i know you care for your friend and all that
but please do mind your own business
youre not in the position to try to get them back together more so because you are not in charge of their future
let time and fate do its job if it should be the both of them circumstances will arrange a way for them to be with each other once again
instead focus on your life instead of trying to fix what they have
you could not possibly reconcile them
youre being too ideal, relax, do something for you
