I am, Happy Sabbath!
I am Seventh Day Adventist
"Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it."
Exodus 20:8

Nice question and I will answer it as my last for now. Its nap time here in the Philippines on Saturday at 2:17pm. Yes I am observing my Saturday, Day of Rest and I gave the maid a day off OK. I do it every Sarurday, but in this household, we work on Sunday.
I do see the sabbath as a Special day in my own way. I am not doing it by law and I ask no one else to do it that does not desire to do it. You see I just think that if the 7th day was a day good enough for My God to take his rest, I guess its on for me, a son or My God to rest on it like my Father does.
I see Saturday a special reminder to me that a day is coming that all things will be new. I did not say it is a rest day like humankind sees rest for I am sure I will then in the future rest place need no rest like that. You see the way I do understand it, I will not get tired in the future like I do now - Physically tired.
Anyway in answer to your question I am on a "NO"'s Saturday because I am a "NO". The only "NO" I do know but that OK. I am very content and will stay a "NO" until someone proves to me by the scriptures or creation that I am wrong to be a "NO". No you do not have to be a "NO" to do your thing. You do what is best for you and I will do what I see is best for me. Lets not fight about it and just let it be unless you want to compare views in a simple enjoyable discussion by email.
For now have good day and just enjoy with a smile OK

Yahshua the Messiah? You mean Jesus, the False Messiah? By definition, a truly observant Jew wouldn't be allowed to be on a computer during observance of Shabbot. So either you're not really Jewish...nevermind, in either situation, you're not really Jewish. You should be in a synagogue (non-messianic) repenting for accepting a False Messiah. If you were truly Jewish, you'd be eating a meal by candlelight and reading the Torah, not posing as a Messianic Jew on Yahoo! Answers.

I believe and follow Christ the Messiah as well. I do however occasionally work on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. In nursing you have no choice. Someone must care for those who cannot care for themselves. When I do not work however we do spend this time as a family. So I guess you could say we observe it. We also attend Mass on Saturday night.
Peace Be With You,
Debra

if you were properly observing shabbat right now you would not be on the computer. admit you are not observing shabbat and admit that yeshua hamashiach is a false idol or G-d will smite you.

Jewish Girl has your answer.
And you are not observing Shabbat by being here.
Reflect on the quality of Love, not on what others are doing right now.
