If she's your god daughter you should know her age.

Something that will stir her imagination. A puzzle book. A hobby she might like. A day at a museum or the zoo. A science kit or telescope.

When I'm at this age...my mom usually brought me to some big toy shop and let me took whatever I like (but do put a limit on buying things) or the best thing to buy is a very big but not expensive teddy bear. Children always fall for teddy bear!

Most girls like art projects a lot! She is old enough to have real art supplies and would probably think it it really cool to have paints and papers from an art store, not just crayola.

There are plenty of kits that make bead jewelry or learn how to knit or crochet a purse or scarf or something.

Barbies, dress up stuff, all girls like dolls. The american girl dolls are a good idea if you want to spend some money. If not...target sells a cheaper version. Its a doll but its not a baby, they are girls they have different clothes , and pieces to make them different rooms, I loved them when I was younger. Its like a big version of a barbie.
