Is it better to do it yourself or get it done by a stylist?
Even though it's expensive and all is it still worth it?

If you're getting blond highlights I would definitely let a professional do it. This strips the hair of color, it's different from a dye. If you leave a coloring dye on too long, (not really a good idea) it just does its thing and stops. A bleaching agent removes more and more of your color the longer it's left on, and can do real damage to your hair.
So if you're putting in colored highlights (like red, or a lighter brown or something) you could save money and do it yourself.
As for whether the blonding job is worth the money you pay, that is entirely up to your own feelings. You have to weigh your desire to have highlights vs your desire to have that cash; and don't forget that once you do it, you have upkeep... you have to keep going back to have it redone as it grows in, or deal with roots!

i always let a stylist do it....that way you know it will come out ok and it will all be even...i do think the money is worth it.....

yes ,it better to have a stylist,i use to do mine myself and finally decided to go to a styles ,I'll probably never do my own color again

depends how special you are for when you go somewhere like meeting a guy of your dreams yeah get it done day before by a proffessional hair styler
