I am wondering how you know whether or not you purchased dried dates or fresh dates? (The fruit I am referring to)

To be honest, dried fruits kind of wrinkle up, so you should be able to tell. But, if you live in the USA, chances are, you won't be seeing a lot of fresh dates.

Now remember that dates are dried plums so technically they are all dried, but to know if they are fresh or dried the real way is the wrinkles, if they have allot of wrinkles than well they are dried if they have little or no wrinkles and are sort of plump not like a plum but plump for a date then it is a date.
