I really like my friend. We are pretty close. I asked her out a year ago and she said no saying she wasn't interested in us like that. I asked her this 5 days after she got out a 6 month relationship. Since then we do a lot of stuff together. We go to dinner together alone. Are there any things I can do to hint I want to be more than friends? I really want to kiss her? Should I try that? Should I tell her I still have strong feelings for her? I kissed her on the cheek for the first time last night and she smiled.

Try ignoring her for a while. If she's interested she'll make contact with you.

Slow old fashioned romances are hard to come by. I don't really know you both well enough to judge how she could feel about you. Best thing is to come clean about your feelings. Nothing ventured nothing gained, and you could spend lots of time spinning you wheels wondering, or you could find out now and move on either with her or with out her.
The quicker you let her know, the quicker you can pursue someone else, or be amazingly surprised at how she feels about you. Don't let her pull the I don't want to mess our friendship card out. Unless you don't want to lose her as a friend. Just don't pant after her like a puppy if she says something like that. She will be more apt to rethink her lose if the latter is the case, if you move on.
Sometimes a girl needs a guy friend, but that said you need to know that you are just a guy friend and there will not be a chance for anything more.
I hope for you that she has similar feelings, or at least wants to take the chance and find out if there is something for you both with each other. Take your time, there is plenty of time to fall in love. Unless you're 70, then go for it.

Tell her how you feel and why she makes you feel that way. It'll make her appreciate it more, hearing you describe things she says or does to make you smile. Take her somewhere semi-romantic to talk. Make sure there's something more platonic around as well, just in case she gets uncomfortable. But if she smiled when you kissed her, it's probably a good sign. (Ask her if you can kiss her good night again-go for the cheek first.)

I think that she is starting to get around to liking you more than just a friend. tell her how you feel before kissing her because if you kiss her and she doesn't like you the way you like her than that's gonna be a problem. But I say she likes you if you spend a lot of time together and doesn't complain or anything like that.

Kissing a girl on the cheek and she smiled. That really is great.. I think you have a chance of being with her. Ask her again maybe she'll say yes this time. I bet she likes you secretly but she isn't saying anything. Or, write her a love poem.

oooooohhh.. if she just smiled its hard to read that. she could have liked it but on the other hand maybe she didnt know what else to do if it made her uncomfortable. just start by telling her you have strong feelings for her. see how she takes that, and then you will know how to react from there. you dont want to be kissing her if you dont know how she feels. if she is fresh out of a relationship, give her a little space unless she made it clear thatshe is looking. good luck :)

Hey dont be too fast in trying to kiss her on the lips... be patient and wait... just tell her how strongly you love her and if you sense that she likes you too just the way you like her then ask her for a kiss...

hi there, write her a letter explaining how you feel, tell her that you would like to be more than just friends, at the end of the letter tell her to write you a letter back if she is interested in your proposal of a relationship, if she is not interested tell her to throw away the letter, and you will not mention it again as you do not want to lose her as a friend.

Next time you are alone with her, tell her that it is taking every ounce of your strength not to hold her in your arms and kiss her.
