I dont know what its called but you've probably seen 'em in movies. It looks like a radar gun with that glass cone around it or whatever, it amplifies the sound. I'm glad to hear your stalking though, the direct approach will always get the best results!

First I must tell this for academic purposes only, because it is illegal to listen and record others conversations. If you are only listening, I guess you are just nosy. You can buy equipment that will pick up sound that is bounced off a person's windows. You can find this equipment at spy shops on the internet. I know because I am nosy too, I am a private investigator..

There are very small radio transmitters that will transmit whatever it picks up on a frequency that you can receive on a regular car or jam box type radio. The only drawback is their range isn't very far and sound quality is poor.

Yes you can buy them. I don't know about the legality's of just listening (eavesdropping), but it is immoral and socially repugnant to do so. You would have to have an extremely good argument of cause for me to even think about telling you where to look for them.
