depends if it was the ONE and only time he did it and more importantly WHAT was you doing at the time he forgot.
My EX called me by anothers name at a VERY silly moment [well it was for his safety]..one trip to the ER later and he had to explain to 3 doctors why he had a bite mark in a very ODD place,
As for actual names....well I am known for brain farts and do forget names, but that is of people that I dont know very well, and that not really the case with you is it !!!!

First, don't take it personally. I know it feels bad when a person we love forgot our name. It feels horrible and sad. However, there maybe some explanations for it. All you have to do is ask him about it and emphasize again to him regarding whats your name is so he knows that this bothers you and if you both love each other then your bf will remember next time.
The core ingredients of successful relationship is to discuss things with each other. The more deeper the discussions, the more close you get with your loved ones. well im sorry to say but the answer is obvious... dump him.ur boifriend should know alot about you and that includes more than ur name....he obviously does not diserve u especially when he doesn't take five seconds to know ur name...
