Only God can see in the hearts of men regardless of their religious origin or belief and only HE will judge them according to their faith. How he will judge is not for us to know or be concerned with. The OT and the NT give laws to us created in God's image to be loving creatures to have compassion to our fellow man. RELIGION often gets in the way of God. RELIGION causes wars. RELIGION spurs heated debate and ungodly emotions and words. If we focus on the moral laws given in the OT and the NT we would become less judgemental of other religions and live in PEACE instead of trying to prove other religions as false or lacking in thorough evidence, the most insightful and Godly way to be irrespective of being Jewish, Muslim, Christian etc...is to follow love as being supreme and God will see that in our hearts and be glad. Stop trying to dissect every religion, in millenia to come there will be more relgions but there will be only one message. LOVE

Eduarodi, when I stated religions i didn't mean atheists, i meant people who believe there is a God who insist on fighting with words or swords to battle their beliefs.

I agree that people should not fight physically over religion.

However it is certainly worth our time and effort to debate over the existence of God, and about religious truths (and if one religion is true rather than another)... Our eternal destinies could depend on the choices we make. (It would be irrational to a priori discard that possibility).

Some people are involved in such arguments and debates because they are interested in truth (I recognize that many people in such debates just want to defeat the other person, rather than really seek truth).

Cordially,
John

So, you're assuming there IS a god, right? Well, that's an important reason to fight over religions. But mind you, I don't mean fight with weapons. I mean fight with words.

ADDED LATER:

In the discussion John is inviting to, and that you agree 100% about, are unbelievers invited? Or will the discussion rule out "a priori" the possibility that there IS no god after all?

Some Christians should be more kind to other people.
