You are both over the age of 18. No it is not too big of a gap to work. No matter the age difference between you, if your personalities and desiers, goals etc. fit together, you can be happy with him or her. Don't be silly..not like your 21 and he's 70 lol. 5 years..not too big of a deal. Not even an issue worth stressin about.
Ok ill stop before i go on and on LOL

A lot of people are dating now with age gaps, and they work out fine. The age of a person is not that important because it's the matter of maturity of the person you are with. If you feel you two can work out then it doesn't matter what age you are, what matters most is if both of you are happy together.

It depends on the people. I know that I am soo differnt now tha tI am 25 compared to 21. I was more immature and didn't know as much. So it may seem like a little age difference but it really could be bigger tehn you think. But hard work is what amkes all relaitonships

NO WAY!! that's like insulting my parents cuz they are 8 years apart. I know some people who are 15 years apart.
Why can't people understand that age is not important? If you really love someone, your going to dump them because of there age? I don't think so, that shows you really don't love that person. Forget the age, think about how the person's personality is. THAT'S important.

By no means, I think this is a good age gap between the 2 of you. I have been in this situation, and it was the best relationship and marriage I ever had in my life. We entertain ourselves and made our on fun. It was great.

hmmm actually it depends who is 21and 26... i think its the boy who is 21 otherwise u will not post this question.. anyway, i always believed that age is secondary to any relationship, it all depends on the person's willingness to accept the other as individual and how would you relate with each other... remember loving is not finding the perfect mate but its more of accepting the imperfect one... just have faith with each other and work hard to make it work...

o.O;; no it's not, there are people who are like 10 yrs apart and married ....... that is only 5 years apart, you are still in the same age range......
my parents are exactley 5 years apart, and they have been married for over 30 years.......... and they get along great...
age isnt what matters in a relationship, it's how much you care for eachother, love eachother, how happy you make eachother feel, how much communication is involved, and how willing you two are able to compromise with eachother
