As most of your answers has stated so far it burns you. The more you have across your body obviously the worse your going to get burnt. From what I know water does not make it worse it just does not put it out. W.P. creates its own oxygen while it burns so can not be put out. It burns until it burns itself out. One way to treat it when it is on a person is to use a knife or other object that wont burn and scrape/ remove it from the skin so whats left burns itself out faster. It is some nasty stuff.

Ingested - Death
Large skin exposure - Drastic Burns
Exposure to water - Instant fire/explosion
Minor exposure to skin - Severe Blisters
My best guess all items.
I am not a chemist or a doctor.
But, I do own a geko, and
We use both Motel 6 and Holiday Inns often.

It burns something terrible. Our chemical battalions would often use it as a weapon against German positions in France and Italy.
Nasty stuff, but makes a lot of smoke quick.

If it lands on your skin directly will "burn" a hole thru you! were it to fall on clothing and you can remove the uniform clothing quick enuff... nothing, but the clothing/ uniform is lost! and were it to slip away from the clothing and get on skin...see the first part of this answer! How to stop it?!

Burn you severely. And if you come in contact with it, don't use water. That only makes it worse.
