We have been dating for a little over 2 1/2 years, everything was perfect until about 3 weeks ago. Back in January and Febuary he had a jewler making an engagement ring, and we were looking at either to buy a house together or go to Germany for a year and this was just a month ago. Basically when he had broke it off with me he said he had needed some space because we lived together, worked together and spent every minute together. He has done stuff like this before, its almost like we get really close then boom we are broken up. Could this be a comitment problem? Thank you for your feedback!

I'm sorta going thru something similar. I kinda get the feeling that he wants to be w/ me but at the same time he wants to have the feeling of freedom too. Mine says he can't trust me. (whatever). He says he needs space, which would be fine, except I'm scared that as time passes I'll get left behind. Maybe yours is feeling the same.

My advice to you is to let him go for now, and don't sit and wait for him to come back. What concerns me is that he's done it before. I think he needs to go work out whatever issues he has before he can make a huge commitment like marriage or even living with you again.

By the way, the statement of "I need some space" is a bunch of crap. It translates to "I don't want to be in this relationship right now".

he has cold feet and scared to death of commitment just give him a little space after you had a serouis talk with him and tell him you can't keep on doing this neither he love you or not then serouisly think about commenting to some one else and that will bring him around good luck

This is a commitment problem. He needs to be sure he's getting into a lasting relationship and not falling into a trap. You have to make sure you put his mind at rest and dont be the bossy type. He loves you but he needs re-assurance.
