Her stomach gets larger and towards the end (about a week before they are due) she'll be looking for a dark, quiet spot to have her kittens.
Some vets are skilled at palpating (feeling) for kittens; sometimes they will take xrays. Check with the vet for dates and times they prefer to do this. Ultrasound, although very expensive, is another option and can safely be done earlier. I actually have a "kitty ultrasound picture" from one of our moms.

It is always hungry. She yowls very loud to call in her 'mate'. You may also notice that her tummy is getting big. And she purrs agressively.

just wait and see if she starts gaining weight. you should be able to tell after about a month of her being breed.

it tummy gets big, it crys a lot, it gets really testy, and the pointy things on their tummys get big. lol. now if its a boy, then your cat is defective.

it will get fat, and kinda lumpy... that will be the kittens. if you count the lumps, that should be about how many kittens it is gonna have.
