Likely she knows that you returned to your ex before so there's that little doubt in her mind about how secure her relationship with you is. Reassure her by telling her that you have absolutely no interest in your ex at all - Don't see her, call or take her calls and don't have any of her things around. Tell your g/f that she's the only one you're interested in and she'll probably become convinced of your sincerity.

That fact that you went back once is what worries him. Cuz if you could do it once what is stopping you from doing it again? Hes prolly thinkin " why did she go back to him, did she not learn her lesson the first time around?" men lose respect/credability for us sometimes when we do that. My current boyfriend told me that once. they think less of us whe nwe do stuff like that. Dont worry. Just keep trying to convince him ma, and if it doesnt work out, dont tell this to your next bf. just tell her that all she can do is trust you and if she doesnt then you want to earn her trust, tel her you know it is hard to trust people and that you understand that.
also look at it from her point of view, she is worried she is going to lose you, she likes you too much for that... so good luck and even though it can be hard and take alot of time, but earning someones trust is worth it
