I met my boyfriend where he and I used to work. It was before we started our careers and we were both managers at a small retail store. We were good about separating the two- love and work. He ended up moving, and leaving the store, but now we live together and are planning our future.
I say go for it, as long as you can keep the two separate and be prepared for the consequences if it doesn't work. The way I look at it is, we get to know people very well at work, we are there all day, it's inevitable that many people will meet boyfriends/girlfriends there.
Good luck!

It's ok as long as you behave maturely and keep your personal problems out of the office. Can you do that? Do you usually get along well with your exes? Or should something go wrong will you be constantly hoping not to run in to them?
There are many fish in the sea. Take the opportunity if you can handle the consequences and not make a mess.

tough call.. first of all, you might want to check to make sure your company doesnt have a policy against it... quite common nowadays. If you are all-clear from there, you should weigh your options... how much is it worth to you? think about your worst break-up ever (and the aftermath), if you are ok with that being present everyday at work... then it must be worth it. If not, find a different pool to fish in ... Good luck!

It's not the dating, it's the breakup and having to see eachother everyday while keeping civil that you need to think about. Just assume that the worst happened between you two. Could you maintain a professional atmosphere? And aside from that, could you control yourself from pushing him into the bathroom or closet during business hours? You could both lose your jobs.

It's not good to mix buisness with pleasure. It might seem tempting now, but you have to think about in the long terms. Do you think you can continue to work there or be around him if things go south?

it either works really good or really bad, no in between. If the relationship goes south, you still have see each other. If you can deal with the worst, than go for the best.

i am certain you realize the problems that could occur if you break up, but face it, we only live once- so you decide based on my two comments also it depends on how much you like the other person.

It can lead to problems. What happens if you date, sleep together, and then he dumps you or stops talking to you. How awkward will it be to see him everyday? I wouldn't do it.
