Don't know that one. My step-son went to Punahou. An amazing prep school in Hawaii.

HPA is located at 65-1692 Kohala Mtn. Rd. in Kamuela. Their phone number is 808-885-7321. HPA is a coed school with two campuses in Waimea (Kamuela) on the island of Hawaii. The lower and middle schools are located on six acres in Hawaii's ranching area while the upper school is located two miles away at the foot of the Kohala Mountains. HPA has 352 students at the upper school and the classes run 8 am to 2:45 pm Monday thru Friday and 8 am to 11:25 am on Saturday. They have good extracurricular activities, A.P. classes, and a school work program that all students must participate in. HPA also has good computer resources and a great sciences program. HPA also allows boarding for kids in grades 6 to 12.

HPA's a good school. The average SAT school of HPA students is 1580 (!!!), which is much higher than the national average of 1028, which shows that it offers a superior education to students. The average class size (11 students) is also lower than the national average, which means that students get more individual attention from their teachers. An amazing 98% of students get accepted to college after graduation.

The only drawback to HPA is that it's very expensive to attend, at $16,530 a year for tuition only for day students and $32,300 a year for boarding students. That's more expensive than tuition at the UH! But it's well worth it if you want to make sure that your daughter earns an excellent education at a well-credentialed school.

Please see the link below for a map of the school, list of extracurricular activities there, etc.
