I don't know if you would call this a Damascus Road experience, but in August of 2000 I was laying on my bed reading my bible. It was around 2 a.m. I had just prayed and asked God to show me where a particular scripture was in the bible pertaining to a subject that I wanted to know more about. Right after I prayed that prayer, I heard a voice say "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you". I sat up in the bed, and looked around. I knew that I was alone in my small apartment, but I searched the 2nd bedroom, and the bathroom, just to make sure. Of course the apt. was empty. I then sat down on my bed and started to read my bible again. Once again I heard the voice say the same thing! I called my my mother and told her what happened and she said that God was talking to me and was trying to get my attention. She then told me that that scripture was Matt. 6:33. She said what ever you were praying about, the Lord will do it but you must seek him first. Put everything on the back burner and seek his face! I will never forget the voice of God. It was a little scary, but at the same time I was in awe. God's voice is loud, but still and quiet at the same time. I heard the voice in my head, but his voice filled my room also! I don't know exactly how to explain it, but I hope this is what you were asking about. God is real!

Summer of 2003 when I read a lengthy and inflamatory article attacking Mel Gibson and his yet-to-be released movie, Passion of the Christ. I realized clearly at that point there was a raging spiritual war and all of our media outlets...TV, movies, internet, books and magazines...everything...was geared to destroy us spiritually and morally.
