Begin by applying an anti-frizz product (Neutrogena Triple Moisture Smoothe Shine Anti-Frizz Cream, $7 drugstores) to damp hair. Clip sections of hair away., and blow-dry one section at a time. Starting at the roots, use a boar-bristle paddle brush to smooth down waves. Dry each section in a downwards motion. A hair pro explains, "The nozzle should be pointed down, following the brush, to avoid frizz." Make sure hair is bone-dry before moving to another section. Once done, add invisible control with gloss polish, pomade, or wax ( these products also add shine and tame flyaways) Put a dab on hands and pull hair back as if making a pony tail. "it absorbs nicely and doesnt wiegh down your hair." says the pros. Finish up with an ionic ceramic hair straightner to finsh it up. Just be sure to protect your hair from intense heat by first appling a protective spray designed for blowdrying. (Philosophy's The Big Blow Off, $14, sephora.com) This spray doesnt make it stiff.

Use Bioslik. You can get it at just about any hair salon. I helps calm your hair down and control it. It isn't too expensive and it lasts a long time. My hair is wavy, really thick and frizzy naturally. But when I straighten it and use the biosilk it looks great!!! All you have to do it apply it when your hair is dry before straightening it. Also, avoid blow-drying your hair!! It dries your hair out and makes it frizzy.
