God may not need those but God does know duality.the bible says ,But rember this was written in a patrical society view, Let US make MAN in OUR OWN image. IT was the man that was created out of the dust of the earth that became lonely and asked GOD to make him some company.and God made one female the same way that the man was made and they didn't get along to well .and the man asked form and different more compatible mate. and GOD made another female for him using one of his ribs. which may be why females are smaller than males as the rib that was used was bent or broken in half to make a complete rib cage instead of missing a half of a rib on one side.

God doesnt need to reproduce and if he did he wouldnt need sexual organs. We do need them!
But in any event, the image of God is most likely talking about Gods character and attributes which we share with him!

We were made after the image of God. This just means that we were given a spirit that lives forever. Al other creatures that God created were not made in this image. They do not live forever.
