There's only one appropriate answer to this question. With Oktoberfest about 8 hours away, the only thing anybody should be drinking is beer - in giant one liter mugs.
And the amount is simple. If you know how many you've had, you haven't had enough.

I am drinking vodka and diet pepsi. I know, it sounds gross, but I love it! and, I dont get a hang over the next day. oh man..... how sad...... i am drinking and answering questions on a friday night while my husband is out with his friends downtown.... ok... something isnt right here.... lol
