What I fear most about death is the inability to comfort those I love and leave behind.

I do not fear pain, nor what is to come after death, for I've seen it and experienced it and it is not the heaven of christian beliefs.

We each fashion our own heaven. We each prepare the place where we will dwell after death. It is not black and white: heaven and hell, it is an infinity of possibilities from which we choose that which will lead us to greater awareness of Love for all.

There can be no Fear of this, for we choose our own heaven.

I don't know about exactly answering your question, but I generally judge someone's fear of death by how afraid they are of dying, not by some, possibly stereotypical, idea I may have about a group they are associated with.

I do not think that christians are less afraid of death. They are more accepting of it and are better prepared for what comes after. They are sad when loved ones die, but if that person is a christian also; they are also aware of the fact that it can be a joyful time too. As a christian, I am prepared to meet my saviour face to face and live in eternity with him. But as a mother and grandmother, I am also torn by my love for my family. I do not want to leave them, but by knowing Christ and His love for me; I am not afraid to die if necessary. I hope I have helped you, as for judging non-christians, well that is not for me to do. All I can do is try to be a living witness for them and pray they come to know God as I do.

Simple logic........

Christian has hope in the afterlife and a shot at salvation.

The atheist has no such hope and denies the only thing that could possibly save him-God.

Who has more to lose in the afterlife believers or nonbelievers? Simple logic.

If the Christian is wrong, nothing happens and darkness. If the Christian is right, eternal happiness!

If the atheist is right, nothing happens and darkness, if the atheist is wrong, eternal punishment! Who had more to lose?

I am not afraid of death. Lo and behold, I am not Christian either! Agnostic actually. I do not think there is anyone to judge me when I die, or decide whether I am going to a "heaven" or "hell". I have nothing to be afraid of, except worms eating my decomposing flesh.

Biblically, most likely. In the Bible it does say "O Death, where is thy sting?" and most Christians know that one.

But in all honesty hon, it's not death I fear. I know what happens after I die ... it's just the physical pain of dying that we as Christians fear. No one wants a booboo lol.

What about death do you fear?

I choose to judge no one. I am a Christian. God is the ultimate judge.

It's not our place to judge people, we are only to judge deeds. Love the sinner, hate the sin.

We are worth a Son to God.

YES WE ARE LESS AFRAID WE BELIEVE THAT THERE IS AN AFTERLIFE AND THAT IF WE STRIVE TO FOLLOW JESUS WE WILL HAVE A CHANCE FOR ETERNAL LIFE. WE DO NOT JUDGE ANYONE, THAT IS GOD'S JOB WE ONLY POINT OUT THE REASONS TO BELIEVE WE FORCE NO ONE
