There is such hatred because there are so many who choose the path of Fear and so few who choose the path of Love.
Fear is a trap. Those who try to wield it seek power over others, and become enmeshed in the trap. As they would use Fear as a weapon in seeking power, they surrender themselves to the Fear that this weapon can be turned on them.
Those who choose Love overcome their Fear. They recognize that they always have a choice between Fear and Love. And as long as they choose Love, they will always have this choice, thus Fear cannot overpower them.
Those who choose Fear lose the ability to choose Love. Only by letting go of Fear can they choose Love. Only by giving up the pursuit for power can they let go of Fear.
And losing power is what they Fear the most.

Hatred is produced by us, not God. So many answer's blame Him, and He is not the one hating. We do such awful things to each other and for all the wrong reasons.
If we would truly love one another, and make the purity of the soul our main concern, there would be no need for abortions, no need for the death penalty, no need of guns. Yeah, I know I'm starting to sound like a John Lennon song lol.
It's an individual thing, love is. Each of us is completely accountable for our love, despite modern day "morality". If there is a reward for our love, it is that the more you love, the more of you there is. That kind of gives a new perspective to the verse "God is Love" eh? :)

Asked a similar question a couple of days ago, and you would not believe the staff I got from roughly half the answers.
The way I see it is it takes all sorts.
As to God's intervention, where is our free will; we have to basically sort our **** (sorry) ourselves, and some of it is moderate people having to put up with idiots (sorry but I can't find a better term) who think the only answer to extremism ...etc is another load of stereotyping, spreading even more hatred. I would not be surprised for example that people on opposing sides will actually start physically fighting if we were in the same hall and not behind a keyboard and modem.

You must have read the one about the 24 year old who had 5 abortions and now she can't get pregnant. I can see what you mean and I think you are right.. God is crying his eyes out.. I don't know why so many hate.. I never really saw hate or evil until 9-11 and then it was real to me... Very sad

there is hatred coz there is no understanding, no one is willing to give the otehr a chance to explain. At least with Yahoo Answers you come across people of different faith who are willing to listen and explain themselves their points of view. We all should respect a right to opinion without personal attacks like i see people do without any reason.

This is not hatred you see . it is simply people expressing themselves in the safety of their home .
Most people on this site , are not half as vindictive in real life .
They are simply nutting out points of view , over the net .
Where else can social groups who are bigoted towards one another , able to express and sought out, different political , racial' or religious agendas ,and still be able to cook tea and relax at the same time.
Don't let them worry you , Its all healthy , as it is allowing people to express themselves , with out heated confrontation .

FAITH is a different matter and if you have faith then you wouldn't feel the need to pose this crud! so please dont try to be " i love the world " its pathetic.
