When I was born, I had these incredibly bright blue eyes. They didnt change to brown, like eyes usually do. When I was about 10 they started changing... First they turned a grey-ish colour. Now they are BRIGHT green. When i say green, i mean it. You would probably never see greener eyes on a person.
I went to the doctor and he couldnt work it out.
Has anyone had a change like this, and if so, do you have any idea what went wrong? Or what went right?

I had blue eyes until I was about 4. I remember the day they changed, too. I looked in the mirror, opened my eyes wide, and screamed "MOMMY!! THERES SOMETHING WRONG WITH MY EYES!!!" It was so funny. Now the are a little browner than what I would call hazel. I can barely see the hint of green, but its there. Maybe they're changing again! I'd kill for green eyes.

Both my little boys did this. Bright blue, to grey, to GREEN! Green like grass and leaves. I have no explanation. My husband and I both have brown eyes. His father has bright blue eyes, and the rest of the grandparents have brown.
I chalk it up to a persistent recessive gene. After all, I got red hair after two generations without. Those recessive genes just pop up unexpectedly.

Changing eye colors naturally might be like how some people change hair colors naturally without a dye job, like how some blonds become brunettes and vice versa.

beyound teen years, I don't know,but as a teen my eyes were green, when I got in my mid 20's or so they started changing to blue, for eye color on my state i.d. card they have blue. However, there is that slight greenish cast, but considered blue. It's normal for eye color to change, you have nothing to worry about, just a stage in life we go through.

My eyes have always been brown, but my friend's eye color was blue when she was a baby and they are now green.

Well depending on the day my daughter either has blue eyes or green eyes, I wouldn't know what to say if someone asked me what color her eyes are!

I had sky blue eyes until I was 8 then they turned a greenish yellow - really cool color. I still have the same color & I'm in my 30's!

One of my boys' eyes changed color as he got older from blue to green, I think.

my eyes were blue till about 13 then from then on they change from day to day. sometimes they are pretty dark green sometimes a grey bluish color
