Tonight I called my brother and told him I was bored. I told him I am running out of people to talk to. He hesitantly told me people don't like to talk about religion. (meaning they don't like talking to me because I talk about God) I replied saying, I don't discuss religion, just spirituality (who I am, being true, honest, genuine, etc.)
If he could be on this forum right now! Wouldn't he suddenly feel in the minority??????
So, I'm learning to veer away from negative people, and gravitate towards people like myself, who love God and love talking about Him..........any comments and discussions are welcome and appreciated!

There's an appropriate time & place for every conversation.
A person might not want to discuss religion at the workplace, school, or in the checkout line at a grocery store but would be happy to discuss it here or at a religious gathering.

Well, when people come here, they know what they're in for. I do have friends who are the sweetest people in the world but whose constant need to talk about their faith bores me and / or makes me feel like i have to either defend my own faith or deny it. Maybe you just need to let your relationship with God be between you and God and let Him reach out to others as He sees fit. Of course, I don't really know, but that is my suggestion. Yo seem like a nice person, so it shouldn't be too tough to find some more people to chat with. Bright Blessings!

but you will quickly find yourself at a lack of people to talk to if all you talk about is god. open yourself up to some new subjects. you will find more people willing to talk to you.
