I found $697.65 for 1 adult return and one child (aged 2-11 - ie, in its own seat) for $607 on US Airways TYS - LGW with one stop-over in Charlotte (CLT). Its almost exactly the same price on Delta but goes via Atlanta.

Bon voyage!

If you're looking for round-trip, the best fare I was able to find was to/from London Gatwick (LGW) on Northwest for $446.00 per person. If you MUST fly to/from Heathrow (LHR) I found a fare of $777.00 per person. Both of these itineraries had only 1 stop but both were overnight flights to London.
