Because it a all mexican and they know mexican custom (ex. spanish). They make fun of me for being black and other black kids there. I been for about three weeks because I just move here. And now I have about 3 chick already trying to fight me and getting there friends on me. I feel so lonely there. Like I don't belong there. My aunt just out of middle school. She's a 9th grader. She too had problems there fitting in. That's why she didn't wanted me to go there in the first place. She said that she mostly fought and argue to other girls to back them off her. She fought so much that people was so scared to approach her. For me, the only way I shine in front of people is when I dance and sing. What should I do to fit in? I DON't WANT PEOPLE TO HATE ME ANYMORE!!! I'm just being me. Don't say to ignore them because when a number of people hating me, they tell there friends. Then, their friends tell their other friends. The whole school hate me by the time of next month. I don't want this!

They are being racsits and tell them that to their faces. I did that when people were making fun of my friend for being chinese. IT WORKS!

Well let me tell you kiddo I had a few bad years in school too and unfortunatly so did my own daughter. But with both me and her, once you get into the older grades this tends to disappear, in fact some of the people that made your life hell are actually being nice to you.

Now I know that doesn't help you now, but maybe you could pursue your dance and singing more, talk to you choir teacher or something and get involved in some activities, the kids would then see you for who you are.

Unfortunately a lot of us go through this, and I know at the time you feel like it will never change, IT WILL. Just be strong. I know how kids work, one says hey don't like this person and the whole group follows.

You know one thing that may work is to try and get friendly with some of the kids that are being told to not like you. Believe me they are just following the leader of the pack, but if you try and be nice to the lesser of the evils, sometimes that will lead to the rest of them realizing hey, this is a really nice person.

Hope that helps some.

Keep your chin up. Just keep yourself happy with your dancing and singing and pray. It will all be okay.

WHAT A COINCIDENCE. I am going through the same thing. here is what I did. I ignored them. The only reason they are doing that is because they want a reaction out of you. If you dont give them one they get bored. then they leave you alone. Trust me. the more you ignore it the sooner they will stop. also dont every let them have power. you are unique and other people are going through it. dont let someone think they are better then you. they arent.REMEMBER THAT IT IS JUST A PHASE THAT WILL GROW OUT!!!

Some things you just can't help you should read "Please Stop laughing at me by Jodee Blanco. Its such a good book. Its about what her high school life was like. and I can tell you it makes you look at your life and see that its not so bad! I think the best thing to do is just laugh at them on the inside and next time someone says something too you. just look at them and smile and say thank you! and walk off! It Works for me!

Sounds like a serious problem , I believe I would talk to my parents and see if you can get into a different school or maybe they can come up with a solution..I believe the principal should be made aware of the problem without them knowing you have talked to him/her..Something does need to be done..Don't try to do it on your own..

I would suggest trying to make friends with one of the mexican girls. if you become friends with one of them than they will probably tell their friends to back off of you and leave you alone. you may not have as many friends as you want but you will not have to fight with people any more.

"I DON't WANT PEOPLE TO HATE ME ANYMORE!!! I'm just being me." I'm tired of people hating other people, too... Just be yourself and hopefully, they'll grow up soon...
