for your kids THAT ONLY you mommy or daddy do
I make special pancakes in shapes of butterflies, hands or feet , hearts or kites( use cookie cutters sprayed with cooking spray for non sticky )
I also do numbers and their initials. My hubby knows this is the special thing I do for them so when he makes pancakes they are regular.
I'm interested in what is the ONE thing that you as a mommy or daddy do ONLY for your kids

patricia you would be surprised, the reason I do that for my kids is cause my mother did it for me and my sisters and it made us feel very loved and special

I LOVE that. What a great mommy you are. Lets see, I like to make octopus hotdogs where I slice part way down the weiner in a cross shape. When you throw them in the boiling water their legs curl up.

At bedtime they get a snuggle on their neck from me, until they are squealing with laughter. I also leave small notes in my oldest' lunchbox when she packs a lunch for school. Sometimes she writes back to me and i find it when i make her lunch the next day.
We have all played the hide under the blanket together game as well, and only I do this with them. Lot's of laughs and fun!

we have a bedtime song that only I sing with them and if they sleep at there grandparents house one night i phone them around bed time to sing it.
And we have a Mrs tickle the claw like in that jim carry film liar liar.
My youngest son has a game with me that if i say what he says stinks

I'm not a mommy but....my mom used to "tickle" my face to put me to sleep, like lightly trace the outline of my face with her finger, and it always made me fall asleep

I am the only one who sings--I may not have the best voice but "Cheer up Sleepy Jean"--has been our song since he was born.

the strange thing is I'm 36 i only remember certain things about my child hood.its nice to make memories but how much do they really remember

I sing to my son while we are shopping to ease the torture of him being in the shopping cart. He hates it but forgets all about it while we are singing together. You should see the looks I get!

I beat my children so that when I enter the room they immediately duck and hide.
