Okay, so ive been in love with this girl who is going out with a total jackass. He joined the Military and had a Dishonorable Dishcharge, and also went to Prison for stealing a car, and on top of that hes a big pothead. They have been going out for 20 months. Well they went on a one week break this past week. Everynight she would call me up to hangout and what not, so i planned alot of things for us to do. I took out for lunch at her favorite Restaurant. Cooked her dinner at my place and watched her favorite movie. All those little things. We had such a great time, I never seen her so happy. Just when i get my hopes up and my courage up to confess my love, her boyfriend calls her up and apologizes for his mistakes and she falls for him again. Well, I know at this point I should just let her go, but something in me tells me she is the one and I should be patient. But the sad thing is that I've been in love with her for about a year now. What should I do?

You are not a sucker, just unlucky enough to fall for someone who isn't smart enough to know a perfect thing when she sees it. It really hurts to know that no matter what, you can't make someone love you. I have been there in the past and it is all consuming. But... there is life beyond this girl. If the two of you were meant to be together it will happen, when? I don't know. But don't put your life on hold waiting for something that may never be. She apparently has visions of "rescuing" or saving this other man from himself, and will just end up empty and hurt when she finally realizes she can't change him or fix him. If she is truly your life's love then just be there when that happens. But... on the other hand, you could also be missing the pearl while you are waiting on the diamond to mature... don't let love pass you by. I hope you find what you are looking for in life. Peace.

You waited for a whole year before taking a step. Her bf is a jerk..its clear to her...but she loves him or else why does she keep up with his sh*t.
If i were you ...i would be more aggressive and never give up...i will be at her door and tell her what i really feel...and give her the time to fall for me...if she rejected all that...then i will kiss her forehead and wish her luck.

Sounds to me that she doesn't think of you in that context.If she spends all of that time with you,but jumps when he calls,she isn't interested in you.I know it is hard,but you deserve better.Time to find someone who will be into you as much as you deserve.You will not be happy if you pursue this ,it won't work out how you want.Have a little pride in yourself,be her friend and find someone else.

Let her lose sometimes it takes a jerk to show women what they are missing out on nice guys don't finish last it just takes women getting what they ask for sometimes to figure out what theyve missed you'll get a good girl just wait and see

Call her up and have her meet you somewhere for lunch or dinner. then just spill your guts and tell her everything about how you feel about her and how much happier you can make her and how much better you are for her than him.find out if she has feelings like your for you . JUST DO IT!!!!!

Just move on and date other people for now. You may see her bf for what he is but she doesn't - at least not yet. If they break up again and you're not otherwise committed, try again with her. I wouldn't wait around, though.

it sounds like she likes,bad boys for the excitement and attention.Give it time,and you will see what type of girl she really is.Not the type you want to hang with,i know i found out the hard way too.
