Not a myth. If you drink 8 glasses of water per day, then your appetite will be less, your urine output will be higher, thus ridding your body of toxins. Also, if your urine is yellow and not more clear than yellow, you're not drinking enough water, and can be at higher risk for all sorts of fun things. Like kidney stones, constipation, etc.
Here are some places to check up on the amount of water per day.

That is a myth. The average amount of water a day depends on the persons size. If they happen to have any medical conditions or certain medications it may require more. Water, coffee, tea and juice all qualifies for the average amount of FLUID intake. The more water the better, but the others count as well.

You heard wrong.
From the most extensive research into the basic functions of the human body and the immune system ever conducted, you need at least 2 litres of still mineral water per day.
Water is the means by which your body is able to transport the nice stuff in, and the killer garbage out. There's more to it than that, but it's getting late. Suffice to say that anyone who tells you tap water is just as good as bottled water doesn't know what they are talking about (and I don't care who they think they are).
So, go for bottled still mineral water and natural products based on four times Nobel Prize winning science to stay healthy.
If you want to know more, just contact me .......... although I may deny everything!!!!!!!!

Hey,
You need to get on a diet and start getting in more exercise and make it a habit. In order to lose weight you must burn more calories then you eat.
So eat low calorie healthy meals and find a way to be active if its at the gym or out playing sports or walking with friends.
Also very important is motivation without it you will surely fail! you need to be motivated and dedicated in anything you do.
Success is a habit!

Where did you hear this? Was it credible? This is not a myth, your body needs water intake all day long. It helps to keep your internal temp regulated, and your organs nee it for absorption.

It used to be true but now they recommend a formula where you take your weight and divide it by 13 and you should have that many glasses per day. Personally I think it's bullshit.
