Heres the scoop. I've liked this guy since school started and last year 2. I stopped then because he didn't think of me that way...he liked someone else. She's out of the picture & I want help to figure out what these signs mean. Please don't tell me just to "ask him out" because we haven't had a real conversation in awhile because he's gotten shyer. I need tips on how to talk to him & I REALLY want to know if he likes me.
*He's a really outgoing guy in classes my friends have w/ him, but around me he is silent but keeps staring. He used to talk to me constantly last year when we were friends.
*I read something in the class he's in w/ me and he clapped afterwards-when no one else was-and then looked at his feet for the next 10mins.
*His friends hint that he talks about me and they've started talking to me a ton.
*His friends/him always look at me during lunch and he gets fidgety when I look over.
*If I flirt-even talk to any guy-he gets SO JEALOUS and looks like he wants to cry.

note...he didn't date the girl i mentioned. it was an unrequited crush...she's popular and secretly hated him because he wasn't. he finally saw through her act and now is moving on after it. he was all "i don't like her anymore, i was young and dumb"...and then he looked right at me. And today my friend was teasing me about liking him right behind him (not saying his name but I think he knew) and I was like "Am I blushing?" and he nodded even though I wasn't talking to him. His friend basically said that my crush had been talking about me but could that mean something else?

By the way you write, you seem to be older... but I guess what I'm trying to say is... ARE YOU BLIND? He likes you. Say Hi!....start a conversation.. If he can't even talk to you then something is wrong with him. Maybe just start sitting with him.. and saying hi... and starting a conversation will help ease whatever anxiety he's feeling when he's around you... you have to get him to relax. I think he likes you so much that he gets all tied up in knots and doesn't know what to say and thinks he'll look stupid. Ask his friends if he's ok.. tell them you just wondered because he hardly talks to you anymore. Do something. Don't just sit around looking at him staring at his feet.

...There's only one way to find out if he likes you, and that is to ask him. It doesn't get any easier than that. Have the courage he doesn't have to ask him so. If you ask his friends ... you will just involve everyone in something you may not want them to be around later on. You're so outgoing that you talk to his friends, talk to him! Look, if you say you've tried, but he still won't talk to you, then keep on talking to him. Ask him questions that will make him talk about his life, not short answered questions. In cosmopolitan, there is always a question at the bottom of a page around the middle of the magazine, and it's a question that will make him open up to you. Read it, they really do work. And there's also alot of advice on how to get him to talk in this magazine. Have fun reading it, and good luck. And remember, there's only one way to find out for sure that he's into you, and that is to ask him.

I'm sure he likes you. He just don't know how to tell you, specially if you guys were already friends first. He has things on his on mind that he needs to think about since he no longer has a girlfriend. He might feel like the person he did not want to be with is in his face and is now realizing it because something else went wrong.

Girl...I think that you know what the signs mean and you just want him to confirm it. Why don't you start a conversation with him about some girl that you both know of but not really friends with. Talk about her and work the conversation so that you could say something like "would you ever date/go out with a girl like that?" or "what kind of girl do you like?" or "what do you like in a girlfriend?" Maybe he'll say something sweet like "I'd like to be just like you." Wouldn't that be nice and sweet. It'd make you blush wouldn't it. Well, best wishes and take care.

If he's staring at you that's a sure sign that he likes you. Usually shy guys will look away when you notice them. How about asking him to go get a soda and that would be more relaxed for you both rather than a full fledged date. Alot less pressure. Sounds like he's interested and especially since his friends are talking to you too. That's a big sign. He likes you.

Oh, he likes you alright. He's just afraid to approach you, for fear of being turned down. I don't know what happened with that other girl from last year, but it sounds like he may have gotten hurt when she got "out of the picture".
Talk to the guy. Tell him you miss talking to him the way you did last year, and ask him why he's gotten so shy around you. Just don't push too hard!

I could see Leo for that. And Scorpio type for reservation in general. Some or sometimes Gemini seem detached and cheery and Cancer often seems to be secretive esp ones with Gemini like Gemini dwad Cancer Sun Every sign keeps at least something hidden. Tho. Were are not, as we know it mind readers. Even if we try to be.

Yes the signs are there!! He probably doesn't know that you return the feelings if he is as shy as you say he is around you then try having a casual conversation with him it might just break the ice. If you are feeling weird about talking to him in person try calling him. But definately go for it!!

Sounds to me like he likes you. But I am only guessing as I cant see how he is acting.
How about you ask him out? To the movies, for dinner, whatever. You said he is shy around you. Maybe you asking will help.

The signs means that he likes you and he is 2 shy to ask you out.
Hang with him and his friends at lunch.ask his friends if he likes you if they say no tell them you were just wandering.If they say yes tell them to tell him that you like him too.
