I have just purchased 7000k bright white headlamps for my automobile and can't seem to find a link that would tell me if it is legal to run these on the street in minnesota.

just saw an answer state 85 - 55 watts high beam to low beam well I finally opened the package to verify 65 - 45 watts and a statement on the package about show cars and off road... well the wattage is alot less then what the one answer stated. Thanks
I also took a cautionary sticker off to reveal the statement Simulated 7000K HID --- whoops guess these are knockoff high performance Xenon Bulbs.

Here is a clue? Did the box say off road use only? 55 watt and 85 watt is normal. While some europe bulbs are 85 watt and 100 watt. That is low beam and high beam besides more light these bulbs can melt wiring cause combo switches to fail. Most of the time the Photons of white light won't get you in trouble does your police department have a light meter?
