Buy a bolt of material and play with it. You can experiment without cutting the total length. Plan. Expedite.
OK, my bolt is still whole, still planning. I chose bubble gauze from Dharmatrading.com
Play with sheets, cheaper than a bolt, or light weight blankets. You'll get the feel of the fabric, literally and the eye appeal.
