Hi Nakita.
Things you should be very aware of;-
Anything you give your daughter should NEVER contain Caffeine or Aspartame. The latter is, as you probably know, an artificial sweetener (found in most flavored drinks). The two compounds which make up the product are regarded as harmless when mixed - separately they are classed as poisons. The problem has now come to light that the two poisonous elements break down and separate again in the gut, slowly poisoning the consumer.
Another reason may be a hyper reaction to a particular 'food' that your daughter has just been introduced to - well worth monitoring eating habits against reaction.
Finally, it may just be that her sleep phases have lost the plot, possibly temporarily. One can fall out of sync with regular sleep patterns, which results in a short sharp burst of "I think I'll give my parents hell tonight" syndrome.
Contact me if you want some information regarding your child's health in general, I work with an American research and development company who have pioneered the most remarkable science I have ever seen. Well worth a look at, even if you are not interested at the end of the day.
Take care.

Sounds like Mom/Dad needs a time out tonight, e.g., a long bubble bath, a romantic movie, etc.
Just think about it this way. Your kid is five now but in ten years she will be a teenager and then think about the problems you could discover.
Maybe the two of you could take a bath together and both relax. Then read her a book that is calming and pleasant. Then time for you to find something to relax you.

Tell her its quiet time now and lay in bed with her and read her a book, maybe just talk to her (quietly). Maybe give her a cup of warm milk. (I swear that works)
