I've been many supermarkets all over the world and have never seen this variety of "bread" chip. French breads seem to be the most popular. Do you have a stove with an oven? MAKE YOUR OWN.........it's really easy and you can get really creative too. Get some quality sourdough bread and let is sit for a day or so in a brown paper bag that's "closed". Then on a sturdy surface and with a very sharp knife, cut the bread into 1/4" slices. To make it easier, if the loaf is round cut in half or thirds first and then slice it. Lay the slices on a baking/cookie sheet (don't overlap) and pop them into a pre-heated 375 degree oven. Check them after 10 minutes to make sure they don't burn. Take them out when they are golden and crispy. For variety, you can salt then while still hot with season salt or any of the many seasoned "salts" on the market. You could also rub them with fresh garlic before cooking, brush on some olive oil (melted butter) before cooking or just after they're finished. Experiment and you'll have your own private brand of crunchy goodness!
