Some boys don't want to admit that they like a girl because they think that they will lose their "cool". For some stupid reason, they think that they will look ridiculous and like a "punk" if they admit their feelings. What they don't know is that it takes a man to be able to admit their strong feelings while maintaining a certain modicum of masculinity. It's like when women have to be strong and feminine at the same time. Men can be sensitive without being a homosexual. That's what some males haven't learned yet. So, if he pulls the "he pulls her pigtails because he likes her" rountine on you, tell him..."if you like me, then let me know with your words and your actions. if you don't, then leave me alone." If he's not willing to stand up for his feelings then stand up for your own. Best wishes and take care.

Generally, that is just how boys are. They are mean in the hope of getting a reaction out of you.
It's like when you were 8 and a boy kept pushing you or pulling your hair, it meant he liked you.
Just don't react to his meanness and if he does really like you, he will stop doing it if he can't get your attention. He'll then try the nice way to get your attention.

cuz some guys are immature jack asses who dont know how to control their emotions, and how to deal with them or they just dont want you to know how much they like u so they try and throw u off by actin' llike a jerk!
