I cannot find anywhere, a decent backless wedding dress. I would prefer it to be both strapless and backless, but definetely backless if both is not an option! Anyone have any suggestions? Formal.. Informal.. doesn't matter!! Thanks so much!!

I'm getting married on the beach, might even go in swimwear.... and for all of you, who think it is about showing off the body, please refrain from even answering the question.

There is a reason why you can't find strapless and completely backless dresses; they defy the laws of gravity. Even with stays, they don't stay in place very well. Try either a backless or strapless dress.
Low back and backless:

Strapless:

Both (supposedly)

There isn't a picture of the back, but it's probably a low back, a totaly backless one would tend to slip down. Most dresses that are listed as "backless" are just a low back in wedding gowns.
Good Luck!

How do you intend for the dress to stay on if it's both backless and strapless? Try for a backless halter look. Keep in mind that you don't a too skanky look. Try the knot.com you can search for gowns with an open back.

uh yea there is a reason why you can find a dress like that.
but if you must absolutely have a backless, strapless dress. your best bet is to find a good seamstress and have them make one for you. draw it up and take it in.
are you talking like a halter top type dress?
http://www.edressme.com/sexydress1.html
that one comes in ivory only i dont suggest looking like that at your wedding... it is rather trampish.
i did a google search for "halter top wedding dress" theres a bunch of backless/semi strapless dresses.
http://www.indiebride.com/trousseau/index.html
the 15th dress is backless and semi strapless as well. its not to bad looking either but still rather too sexy for a wedding.
congrats on your up coming wedding.

If you are not able to discover one that you simply like in bridal magazines or the shops, you could have to cross to a customized fashion designer. They're now not constantly overpriced, mainly whilst you don't forget what you possibly buying a salon get dressed after which, probably, buying the changes. If you assess your regional Yellow Pages, you will have to discover them indexed beneath Designers, Dressmakers and potentially, Tailors. Good good fortune discovering your dream get dressed

I don't recomend wearing anything without straps just for the simple fact that it's way to hard to keep things in place. But, these are some options...

Maybe try a costume shop. A backless wedding dress isn't exactly demure and wholesome.
