i have known a guy for 5 years and he has liked me ever since we met should i go out with him?

It all depends on if you like him back, if you don't then don't even try it, b/c it'll only make you miserable, and the guy will be able to see that and it'll hurt him when you break up with him and then he'll get confused and angry b/c he'll want to know why you dated him if you didn't like him ... this guy had liked me since 6th grade so he's liked me for 5 years now also, and I didn't really like him but I went out with him anyway ... I was miserable b/c he was acting all sweet and like a boyfriend but I just couldn't bring myself to "act" like I liked him, so I broke up with him after a week and then he got REALLY mad at me and was confused b/c he said I played him b/c I went out with him and then said that I didn't like him. So if you like the guy go for it 'cause he really likes you, but if not then don't go there, it'll hurt him!!!!!

well how do u feel about the situation? Do u like him in the same way he likes u? if you do then i say go for it, but take into consideration that if it dosn't work out things may never be the same between you two. i know from exprience i lost my best frind from that, but if you love him the same way he loves you go for it because it will work out. If you like him, I don't see why not....But if you don't like him, why spoil a friendship that has lasted that long, over something that probably won't even work?? Good Luck
