If I had a dime for every time I heard "CIA (Culinary Institute of America) is the Harvard of culinary schools," oh my goodness. But they are good schools in my opinion. I am not so sure that I would call the Food Network stars professional. They don't really make all those dishes you see them do; they have interns and prep cooks who do that, and they just show it to you and put it in the oven and take it out. They are just good TV for the most part. But you do have a good idea in starting to work in bakeries and restaurants while in high school; that'll definitely give you a head start. Good luck!

Johnson and Wales University. There are a few of them around the US. I had a friend go there and they teach everything from cooking to running a successful restaurant. Good luck.

If you plan to study in the States try San Francisco or New York but if you want to try in South America go for Chile.

I wanted to be a chef until I dated a chef in training.

Hell no. I'm not going into that profession. It's insane.
