If there is no God, then are are no absolute standards of right and wrong... and so why not.

If there is a God -- the Christian God -- then elders have intrinsic worth (because they are created in the image of God), and so we should not practice elder genocide (geronticide).

Cordially,
John

I'm sure others read it, but they were hoping you weren't serious in your complete lack of logic. But you were.

How sad.

To answer your question, no it would not be okay. And you aren't the first one to come up with this idea. See, for example, the classic sci-fi film "Logan's Run."

Instead of debating whether abortion should be legal, why not come up with a thoughtful question about how we can make our society strong enough that abortion will become unnecessary? And no, adoption and Jesus alone are not the answers.

Liberals will soon be actively supporting elder genocide. It will get much worse over the next decade unfortunately. We must do our duty to oppose them. Oppose anything they suggest. Never vote for a democrat as that is the party that will attempt to force seniors to commit suicide.

So because you define 2 cells as a "human being", you think that people who don't see it that way are such crass murderers that they'd glibly murder their own parents? Can you not see the absurdity of your exaggeration?

And I'm guessing that the majority of those that agree with you have no problem with carpet bombing, capital punishment, or torture of military prisoners. Oh yeah. I forgot they're not innocent, like those 2 cells.

Genocide for any 'cause' is wrong.
But I for one do not wish to unnaturally prolong my life to the harm of future generations.

This is one of the things those of us Prolife have feared for years. If a doctor will kill a baby in it's mother's womb for money what chance do any of us have if our government or our family decide we have outlived our purpose?
We have lost ALL respect for life.

No, it would not be okay. I didn't see your last question so maybe I missed something...something really profound? I can't imagine a scenario where that would be okay...ever.
