Just be a man about it. Don't fear the conversation.
"Mom, dad, I want to tell you this, and I think you already know. I'm gay. I live with ............ We have been together .......... I would have told you before now, but you didn't instill the confidence in me that you loved me no matter what. But I have to be a man and tell you."
Then, they will either accept it or not. Either way, you're better off not having it on your shoulders.

that is a very hard question! The hardest part is not knowing the type of parents you have. I think you should just come out with it. If you really want them to know then just come out with it. There is no easy way to say it. If they are gonna have a problem with it, it wont matter how you say it. Does that make sense? If they are gonna be upset that your gay and living with a partner it doesnt matter if you send them a fancy *** letter with money or if you send them an email.
good luck, hope this helped

You are who you are.....nothing to be ashamed or afraid of. Get on with your life and tell your folks. They've spent years raising you and deserve to know who their son is. Nothing you can say can change who you've always been. If they loved you before, why shouldn't they love you after? Ever think they might be pleased knowing you've found happiness with someone? After all, that's what parents want for their kids.
Good luck from the mom of 2 adult kids

invite them to dinner with you and your partner and after dinner over coffee ect simply say mum dad we have some thing we would like to tell you and take it from there they may react badly to what you have told them and may need to take some time for it to sink in and calm down so be prepared for that but with any luck they already know and are just waiting for you to tell them i hope it goes ok and i hope you can find peace in your decision and find the right way to come out so to say also it may be a good idea to let them know when you do tell them its nothing to do with they way they raised you as i know from a friend that's exactly what his mum and dad thought and they blamed them selves for it.

Let then know quick, because if they find out from someone else it might hurt them more and cause problems for you, but if they love you eniugh they will respect your wishes and be behind you 100%
